The Cary Company is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Product Category Analyst to join our team in Addison, IL. This role is crucial for enhancing our product offerings by implementing new product categories and ensuring their successful integration into our supply chain and online platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain operations, data analysis, and market research, coupled with a proactive approach to vendor relations and product marketing.

This is an on-site role reporting to our Addison, IL facility.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to identify and implement new product categories.

• Conduct thorough vendor and market research to assess product viability and competitive positioning.

• Manage and execute data collection and spreadsheet management for mass product uploads and category updates in our system.

• Explore and analyze market opportunities for potential product offerings and provide strategic recommendations.

• Contact vendors to gather comprehensive product information and negotiate terms as necessary.

• Develop and suggest marketing strategies for newly added products to maximize visibility and sales.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements to ensure THE CARY COMPANY remains competitive.

• Ensure accurate and efficient information flow between vendors, supply chain, and marketing teams to facilitate effective product launches.

  Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or related field.

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with spreadsheet software and data management tools.

• Creative thinker with the ability to propose innovative solutions for product marketing and category expansion.

• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
