ARAMARK Catering Sales Manager - Anaheim Convention Center in ANAHEIM, California

Job Description

The Catering Sales Manager - Anaheim Convention Center will work closely with the Sales Director to maintain convention, corporate, and social catering accounts to meet or exceed budgeted revenue goals and to ultimately aid in conducting a successful event.

  • Utilizes selling tactics to develop key accounts while meeting organization developed sales strategies and objectives. The Catering Sales Manager will serve as a liaison between the client and company.

  • The position will support group and local businesses through assigned events, tastings, site visits, in an assigned market.

  • The Catering Sales Manager works in conjunction with the client's sales team's activities, supports individual and group sales goals.

  • The position is base salary and eligible for a local bonus, contingent on meeting metrics.

COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position ranges from $69,000 to $74,000, depending on circumstances including an applicant?s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

If hired, employee will be in an ?at-will position? and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure seamless event planning execution of food & beverage services.

  • Manages events and supports a workload that generates $20 million in annual revenue.

  • Communicates and implements all ARAMARK policies, credit procedures, guidelines, standards and contractual obligations.

  • Effectively executes work in a timely fashion in accordance with common technological practices ? via e-mail, word, excel, proprietary catering software and other standard software programs.

  • Ensures the accurate and timely distribution of event information to the customer?s satisfaction.

  • Reviews all account billings to ensure all chargeable items are correctly posted.

  • Maintains mature, professional, business-based demeanor in interactions with guests (both internal and external), clients and building partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor?s degree required is preferred.

  • 5-7 years? experience as a Catering Sales Manager in a high volume convention center, hotel, catering venue or other like environment required

  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing tasks and prioritize work in a fast paced, high volume environment required

  • Demonstrated growing existing business and maintaining equitable client relationships required.

  • Knowledge of Ungerboeck is preferred.
