Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist with vertical mills knowledge/background. This person will be responsible for setting up, running/operating a vertical mills machine from start to finish. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 - Setting up the vertical machinist by setting the program and setting the materials

 - Will be responsible for running a project from start to finish (does not last more than 2 weeks)

 -Will have to read the blueprints and drawings to be able to know how to set up and operate the machine

 - Responsible for modifying G&M codes and programs to adjust the machine throughout the project

-Will be working in a lean manufacturing environment

Skills and Requirements

• 3+ year of experience setting up and operating CNC machines

   -Experience with running vertical or horizontal mills machinist

   -Experience with working with steel

   -Experience modifying G&M codes

   -Experience measuring in metrics

   -Experience reading designs and drawings

   -Must be able to work overtime and be reliable

• Must possess own transportation. null
