Our client, a world-class global food safety and quality partner, is hiring a Physical Technician! They offer services to the food and nutrition industry in the way of testing, auditing, consulting, training, research, and other various services. You could work in state-of-the-art laboratories at competitive compensation, multiple shifts made available to you, and with generous overtime!

Type : Temp to Hire

Schedule : M-F (10a-6:30p)

Pay : $18.50/hr

Requirements:

• HS Diploma

• Associate or Bachelor’s preferred but not required.

• Comfortable working with computers and data entry

Responsibilities:

• Perform physical testing procedures, identifying the specified physical characteristics of a sample, according to client requests and specifications.

• Read, calculate, and record analysis data to produce LIMS-generated reports for customers.

• Correct any discrepancies that may occur.

• Receive and log in samples prior to analysis.

• Review sample and any attached to documentation to assign an identification number and enter information into Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).

• Prepare documentation as necessary.

• Store samples in an appropriate manner until analysis is completed and appropriately dispose of extra samples.

• Prepare samples to be shipped to other labs, when necessary, follow appropriate procedures and maintain all related documentation.
