As you gain knowledge about how we operate, you’ll be setup with cross training with our nationwide sales team; getting you ready to move into one of our Territory Sales roles in 12-18 months where you’ll have a territory all your own. Responsibilities:

  • Support company profit and service level objectives by ensuring timely and accurate management of customer orders, inquiries and concerns

  • Receive customer orders via email, fax, EDI or some other method

  • Review orders for accuracy according to lead-time, product availability and conformance to order policy

  • Act as the facilitator between the customer and other stakeholders when customer order requirements do not meet Pactiv Evergreen requirements or capabilities

  • Act as the voice of the customer for Commercial (Sales) and Marketing teams and other stakeholders

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned customers to ensure optimal service levels that provide Pactiv Evergreen with a competitive advantage in the marketplace

  • Provide an ongoing view of service satisfaction and changing customer requirements by collecting and reporting data on key account relationships to the Sales and Marketing organization

  • Maintain accurate records detailing individual customer order and delivery requirements, and changes to individual orders

Additional Role Expectations:

  • Needs to be prepared to transition into a Field Sales or other function when opportunies become available

  • Cross-train with other functions, as designated

  • Work with Category Management Marketing Team on special projects as directed and when required

  • Needs to be prepared to relocate if necessary according to business needs

Qualifications

Qualificaltions and Skills:

  • Previous Customer Service experience preferred however full training will be given

  • Strong computer literacy skills (Microsoft Office) essential

  • SAP experience preferred but not required, full training will be given

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, essential

  • Strong team behaviors essential

  • Attention to detail essential

  • Ability to be adaptable, multi-task, prioritize and time management

Education:

BA/BS degree or higher required
