Unit Description

Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for a hands-on Executive Chef for our MIT- Lincoln Lab client in Lexington, MA . We are looking to grow the food program as well as the business and need a working Executive Chef who can assist with our goals.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years culinary management experience , a proven track record with creative culinary trends as well as excellent leadership, communication and customer service skills. Prior culinary experience in a corporate setting, fine dining, high volume catering or Executive Dining Room would be a plus for this role.

This Executive Chef will work primarily Monday through Friday 6AM-4PM schedule with no weekends or holidays.

We are looking for candidates who will:

• Responsible for Culinary menu design, recipe development, and recipe audits

• Support Procurement team in raw material sourcing as needed

• Implements & coordinates the culinary function

• Conduct training sessions to review recipe execution withKitchen staff including Senior Cooks, prep cooks & utility workers

• Ensures food preparation & production meets operational standards

• Manages Catering program including menu development, food cost, recipe vetting, etc.

• Manage Customer & Client satisfaction, feedback and relay information to Culinary leadership

• Financial management to include food cost & menu management

• Supports in managing food & physical safety programs

• Support with Culinary Operational Production as needed

• Additional support will be provided across production and fulfillment planning teams and additional support as the Culinary Ops Leader communicates

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 3 years

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
