Morgan Stanley Bank N.A. seeks to fill the position of Associate in New York, NY.Reviewing and performing due diligence, and recommending actions on new lending and trade requests in accordance with the Firm's risk appetite and to minimize risk. Performing financial, credit and industry analyses to establish credit-specific ratings. Authoring and presenting credit memos to senior managers in order to inform credit decisions. Tracking and monitoring counterparty/portfolio compliance in accordance with contractual terms and Firm limits. Monitoring public ratings of counterparties and maintaining up-to-date view on industry trends and rating agency criteria. Underwriting new leveraged financial corporate loans, assessing loan structures, and monitoring a large, diversified, complex credit portfolio. Requires a Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field plus two (2) years of experience in the position offered or two (2) years of experience as an Associate, Analyst, Intern, Project Analyst, or related. Requires two (2) years of experience with: Assessment, mitigation, and management of credit risk associated with corporate lending and trading; assignment of internal ratings, including probability of default, regulatory classification and loss given default; leveraged finance or high yield financing, including documentary, market, and regulatory frameworks surrounding this lending activity; assignment of internal ratings, including: Office of the Comptroller of the Currency-defined regulatory ratings; reserve-based lending, including hydrocarbon reserves valuation and banking regulatory framework surrounding this lending activity; operational, financial, macro-economic, and strategic considerations of the Oil & Gas industry, including drilling and oilfield services, onshore/offshore exploration and production, gathering, storage and transportation, refining, wholesale trading, and retail; performing financial forecasts and valuation of credit counterparties; and analyzing potential risks regarding operational or financial performance of individual issuers, and the subsequent financial risk to lenders/debt holders.

Minimum Salary: 127500 Maximum Salary: 140000 Salary Unit: Yearly
