Citigroup Credit Desk Analyst - LATAM Credit in New York, New York
Position Objective:
The Latam Credit trading team is looking for credit desk analyst to cover Latam corporate credits.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct and maintain research on Latin American companies in various sectors and countries.
Generate content and trade ideas for the desk and clients to generate executable trades that bring revenues for the team.
Stay abreast of trends and news, maintain pro-active views, and communicate conclusions/recommendations concerning pertinent sectors and macroeconomic trends and developments.
Regularly review and compose reports and models on companies under coverage, including some traveling to the region to meet with companies’ representatives.
Periodically participate in client meetings and client calls, including some traveling to meet clients in other locations both within the US and abroad.
Monitor existing investments and industry developments.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made.
Qualifications:
10+ years of direct experience in analyzing Latam corporate credit
Strong academic record
Bachelor's/University degree
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills and technical insight
Ability to effectively handle multiple assignments
Strong attention to details
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
