Our partner strives effortlessly in blendingexceptional flavors and quality nutrition throughout their products. They are looking for a versatile QA Technician to join their team in Ontario, CA!

Contract to hire

Pay Rate: $23-26/hr

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with management, and is accountable for all processes, policies, and procedures.

• Conduct GMP walk-throughs and audits to maintain compliance standards.

• Verify effectiveness of CCPs, allergen controls, supplier controls, process controls, and sanitation protocols.

• Conduct pre-operational inspections to monitor food safety and quality.

• Address and identify CAPA's throughout process.

• Perform sensory tests on baked goods to ensure they meet quality standards

• Verify correct batter weights, product temperatures, packaging, and labeling on a regular basis.

• Complete validation on calibration of equipment, such as metal detectors, scales, and thermometers used in production.

• Maintain sanitation standards through clean area checks and monitor practices to prevent contamination.

• Complete accurate documentation, including filing, calibration and validation of measuring equipment.

• Ensure COAs are in compliance with specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science or related area of study, and 1+ years of quality assurance experience in a food manufacturing environment, or

• High School Diploma/GED and 2+ years working in a food manufacturing environment, or

• Industry experience following GMP standards working with food safety.
