Bentley Systems Technology Procurement Specialist in Remote, Ireland

Summary :

Are you ready to play a pivotal role in driving Bentley’s success?

As a Technical Procurement Specialist, you'll be at the heart of our procurement process, securing the best goods and services to keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently.

You’ll be responsible for acquiring top-notch goods and services at the best possible price, ensuring optimal quality, quantity, and timely delivery. You'll build strong vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and streamline our procurement procedures for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers. Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure reliability and favorable terms.

  • Negotiation : Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable contract terms.

  • PR Processing: Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Monitor and track orders to ensure compliance with contracts.

  • Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and trends in the market.

  • Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage contracts. Ensure compliance with legal and organizational requirements.

  • Quality Control: Collaborate with stakeholders to define quality standards. Monitor and enforce quality control measures in procurement.

  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks in the procurement process. Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen issues.

  • Policy Compliance: Ensure adherence to organizational procurement policies, ethical standards, and relevant regulations.

  • Documentation : Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and vendor communications.

  • Reporting : Generate reports on procurement metrics, cost savings, and vendor performance for management review.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 5-7 years of proven expertise in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.

  • Experience with software and SaaS procurement is a must.

  • A deep understanding of contract terms, with a thorough knowledge of procurement-related laws and regulations.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Keen attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.

  • Willingness to travel to our corporate office in Exton, PA, once a year.
