We are looking for passionate and committed engineer to build the next version of our mac applications. If you are a seasoned and experienced iOS developer not intimidated by the depth and complexity of mac OS and have strong knowledge and working experience of the macOS platform and architecture, then you are the right person. The role offers a great opportunity to work on cutting edge automation platform leveraging Generative AI

Who you’ll report to: Director of Engineering

You will make an impact by being responsible for:

• Architecting, designing and developing components for capturing screen and keyboard actions with the ability to re-play them on demand.

• Collaborating with the design team to define app features.

• Ensuring quality and performance of the application to specifications.

• Identifying potential problems and resolving application bottlenecks.

• Fixing application bugs before the final release.

• Knowledge of Apple's design principles and application interface guidelines.

• Maintaining the code and atomization/modularization of the application.

• Designing and implementing application updates.

You’ll be a great fit if you have:

• BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 8-10 years of experience

• Excellent knowledge of C/C++ on Mac OS/LLVM/ XCode.

• Excellent knowledge of Objective-C / Swift /Swift UI.

• Previous experience working with the Cocoa framework is required.

• Hands-on experience working with open-source databases, messaging bus preferred.

• Should be well versed with MAC OS Internals.

• Knowledge of Objective-C / C++ / Swift interoperability.

• Network / Socket programming on Mac OSX.

• Multi-threading and interposes communication.

• Knowledge of working with MacOSX extensions.

• Knowledge of working with iOS extensions.

• QT or any Mac UI framework.

• Excellent debugging skills and exposure to tools like Instruments to find memory leaks.

You excel in these key competencies:

• Effective communicator, able to express ideas clearly in written, visual, or oral form with business and technical people.

• Ability and willingness to work alone in a self-directed and matured manner.

• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging capability.

• Strong ability to work under pressure.

The base salary range for this position in California, New York, and Washington is $230,000 – $256,000 and outside of those locations is $220,000 – $243,000 a year. The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, equity and a full range of medical and other benefits.
