Intel Senior Manager, Executive Communications in Santa Clara, California

Job Description

We are searching for a communications expert to drive the development and execution of the executive communication program for the EVP and GM of Intel's Data Center and AI Group (DCAI) . This group drives the development of leadership data center products, such as Intel Xeon processors, artificial intelligence (AI) products, including Intel Gaudi accelerators and Intel Data Center GPUs, software, system technologies, and high-performance computing (HPC) solutions.

The role is an exciting and dynamic opportunity to have a direct impact on one of Intel's most strategic business and technology groups and help shape the future of today and tomorrow's most important technology trends.

The scope includes strategic planning, storytelling, managing internal and external communications engagements, content development, and partnering with teams within GCE (corporate, employee, technology and international communications, financial and c-suite media relations leads, integrated storytelling leads, etc.), Marketing, other technology and business groups and with leadership teams.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following skills:

  • Superb business or marketing communications skills, coupled with technical and product acumen.

  • Experience driving executive communications strategies for technology and product organizations.

  • Experience in driving communications strategies and plans to engage and inspire employees.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with and influence senior executives, providing positioning counsel and executing with a sense of urgency.

  • Experience contributing to business goals through strategic communications for large, complex organizations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the demonstrated ability to turn complex ideas into stories and visual concepts easily understood by a broad audience.

  • Strong organization, program management and content development skills, with a demonstrated ability to meet milestones, meet tight deadlines and communicate status on concurrent projects.

  • A storytelling mindset. Demonstrated creativity, drive and passion to generate buzz and excitement for company's core narratives.

  • Strong relationships with technology media and influencers

  • Deeply knowledgeable about technology, emerging trends, economic and market issues, as well as the data center and/or AI industries

  • Flexible and resilient problem solver with the ability to build broad-based consensus and manage sensitive situations.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and work across teams.

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with the maturity to interact comfortably with a vast spectrum of roles and responsibilities across the business and supporting functions.

  • Exceptional written, oral, visual design and layout, and digital communication skills in addition to proofreading and copy-editing.

As a Senior Manager, Executive Communications your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Drive communication engagements for internal and external audiences including platforms/POVs and corresponding 360-degree, high-quality content that aligns to Intel's corporate narrative and amplifies executive priorities.

  • Develop external engagement plan for the EVP and GM for DCAI.

  • Coordinate across and serve as central point of contact for the global communications team and other key partners to ensure strategic business objectives are supported.

  • Apply business knowledge, media relationships, public relations and/or employee communications expertise to help design and draft content in support of executive strategic communication plans, including briefing documents, talking points, speeches, video scripts, long-form editorials, social media, visuals and more.

  • Partner across the communication team, marketing, and business units to select the most appropriate methods and channels to deliver integrated executive communications.

  • Work with stakeholders in the coordination and planning of executive speaking and meeting schedules at events and office visits.

  • Develop detailed and concise briefing documents to prep executives with need-to-know information prior to external engagements.

  • Manage and leverage insights, research and support from agency partners and other vendors to develop new strategies and opportunities for engagements.

  • Assess and direct reactive opportunities and requests in support of executive communications strategies.

  • Work with peers across executive communication team to align other c-suite executive communications programs.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, Marketing Communications or related field.

  • 8+ years of related experience in executive communications or media relations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of the data center industry, ecosystem and technologies particularly artificial intelligence and enterprise systems and software.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $141,673.00-$241,005.00

*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
