Baystate Health Transplant Nurse Coordinator in Springfield, Massachusetts

Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’s premier healthcare provider, and home to Baystate Medical Center (BMC), a Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence is looking for a full-time day shift Registered Nurse Transplant Coordinator to join our team!

SCHEDULE:

  • Full-time, day-shift

  • Mon - Fri 8AM - 430PM

  • Location: Baystate Medical Center Springfield

Required Experience:

3 years of relevant nursing experience

Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Experience:

5 years of relevant nursing experience

Experience in Renal, Dialysis, and/or Transplant

Bi-Lingual

Preferred Education:

Master's degree in CNL, MSM MS, NP

Skills/Competencies:

Identified & maintained within the department

Ability to work as part of a team as well as function independently

Problem-solving skills

Interpersonal skills

Work requires the analytical skills to resolve highly complex problems requiring the application of clinical, scientific, or technical principles, theories, and concepts and in-depth, cross-functional experienced-based knowledge. Work requires communication skills to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair solutions or well-developed writing skills as well as developed critical thinking and organizational strategies.

Bachelor of Science (Required), Master of Science

Certifications:

Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator - American Board for Transplant Certification, Certified Nephrology Nurse - Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission, Registered Nurse - State of Massachusetts
