HP Inc. Japan Personal Systems SMB Segment Business development manager(BDM) in Tokyo, Japan

Position Overview:

  • Japan BPS Category team manages the overall business of commercial segment. Commercial segments are segmented into SMB and Enterprise. Category team have been segmented by the product categories business Notebook and business desktop to manage the business from product perspective.

  • This is the new position to focus on SMB segment. This position is expected to work product category team and related GTM sales teams mainly Channel Sales Organization(CSO) and HPS(HP Store) targeting SMB segment.

  • This position needs to demonstrate the SMB segment business strategy development including channel/direct strategy and driving the alignment and execution of the developed strategy. For near team, this position needs to capture the large business opportunities by driving the world wide smartbuy/smartbuy+ projects.

  • This position reports to BPS Category lead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading/managing marketing, operational and financial aspects of SMB segment.

  • Develop short and mid-term plans to achieve market growth, revenue, and operating profit goals.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive SMB business strategy that aligns with HP's overall business goals and objectives. This includes defining channel strategy and executions development, alignment, and executions with GTM sales team, Marketing and other relevant teams. Also, this developed strategy needs to be orchestrated with the product category strategy with focus on the product and pricing strategy.

  • Drive successful business expansion in SMB segment by capturing the business opportunity of world wide smartbuy/smartbuy+ projects. This projects are expected to expand the partnership opportunities to expand the addressable market.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in each of sales and field marketing in BtoB business segment. The business experience in the relevant industries is plus.

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful category strategies that drive revenue growth and market share.

  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and P&L statements.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • A deep passion for technology and an understanding of the needs of professional users.
