HUSCO AUTOMOTIVE HOLDINGS Senior Quality Engineer in WAUKESHA, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Senior Quality Engineer at HUSCO Automotive Holdings LLC in Waukesha WI will work to achieve HUSCO Quality targets by acting as central conduit for customer concerns, working directly with customer quality contacts to resolve issues related to the design and manufacture of HUSCO electro-hydraulic controls products and re-enforce HUSCO\'s reputation as global quality leader in our industries. Identify internal quality issues in production and actively pursue resolution, ensuring product quality that exceeds customer requirements. Develop and implement continuous improvement plans by applying problem solving tools and engaging with cross-functional teams. Coordinate routine Customer Quality visits to HUSCO by finalizing the audit agenda and team, leading internal preparations for audit, guiding on-site reviews and next actions. Work with suppliers to drive containment/risk mitigation activities, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for supplied component quality issue solutions. Utilize experience with geometric dimension and tolerancing to define and interpret engineering tolerances in support of manufacturing processes. Retain quality certifications required in industry, including annual quality management system audits via third party. Utilize Advanced Quality Planning steps for production line PFMEAs and Control Plans. Update those documents when concerns are identified and solved. Execute capability studies for new product launches and evaluate results to coordinate PPAP\'s with OEM\'s. Prepare documents for customer acceptance. Mentor site quality engineers / technicians and line leads in problem solving techniques and continuous improvement. Up to 15% domestic and international travel required. Minimum Requirements: Requires a Bachelor\'s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a directly related field of study plus two years of professional experience as a Quality Engineer or related occupation. Experience must include two years of experience with each of the following: (1) Geometric dimension and tolerancing; (2) Use of standard inspection metrology equipment; and (3) quality management systems including development, documentation, and implementation of requirements.
